Low Level or Cold Laser Therapy uses photons (light) to stimulate the cells in the body, specifically the mitochondria (better known as the powerhouse of the cell). This stimulation of the mitochondria increases energy production within the body’s cells, which can help to reduce pain and inflammation as well as speed up the healing process following injuries. This can be used to treat many ailments such as Migraines, Bursitis and Neurogenic Inflammation, and is even FDA approved for chronic lower back pain and plantar fasciitis. We here at Healing Hands use Erchonia’s Fx 635 Laser.
